About the Company
VGViews is a new Social Network for Gamers. Gamers can read, write, and share their own reviews with each other. Right now, gamers go to sites like gamerankings.com to read what professional reviewers think. At VGViews, we think that gamers are the real game experts.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform business development, community management and grassroots marketing to help grow traffic, revenues, and make us the number one social networking site for gamers online.
Primary Responsibilities
Grassroots Marketing - Help grow the site by spreading the word of VGViews to gamers online. Raise awareness by developing new buzz/guerilla marketing programs that drive word-of-mouth brand building and media coverage.
Community Management - Help foster the VGViews community through outreach and interaction.
Business Development - Help create business strategies and negotiate and close business deals.
Compensation includes equity and is negotiable based on experience, and enthusiasm. Passion for video games is required and a degree in business is preferred but not necessary. This is a ground-level opportunity for a business and marketing rock star to help us build from the ground up the next big video game community online.
